Not a replica. Not a fake. A custom watch built around a genuine Japanese Seiko movement — the same engineering that powers Seiko's own $500–$2,000 watches, housed in a premium custom case with a dial you won't find anywhere else.
We start with an authentic Seiko NH35, NH34, or VK63 movement — manufactured in Japan, known for reliability and accuracy. This is the heart of every watch we build. Not a clone. Not a Chinese copy.
Sapphire crystal (scratch-proof), 316L stainless steel case, ceramic or aluminium bezel insert, and a custom-designed dial. Every part is selected for quality, not cost.
Each watch is built by hand in our workshop — movement regulated, hands set precisely, case pressure-tested. It leaves our bench only when it meets our standard.
Think of it like this: You're getting Japanese Seiko engineering — the same movement family found in the Seiko 5 Sports, Prospex, and Presage lines — in a custom-designed watch built to our specifications. Same heartbeat. Bolder design. Half the retail price.
These are the components that separate a serious watch from a disposable one. Every part is chosen to last.
Every Emperor Mods watch is built around one of these three Seiko movements. All made in Japan. All legendary.
🔧 The movement in your watch depends on the model you choose. All three are genuine Seiko, made in Japan.
"I've owned Seikos for years — this mod is better finished than my $600 Presage. The sapphire crystal is flawless, the NH35 runs at +4s/day which is COSC territory. Customer service answered my questions within an hour. Already planning my second."
"Was nervous ordering a mod watch online. The 30-day return policy gave me confidence. Watch arrived in 6 days to France, packaging was premium — felt like unboxing something much more expensive. The dial texture and lume are outstanding. My colleague thought it was a $2,000 watch."
"The NH34 GMT is the best value GMT watch on the market, period. True caller GMT functionality — the GMT hand is independent, which you normally only get on watches above $1,000. Bezel action is crisp, bracelet is solid. Genuinely impressed."
"This is my third mod watch from different builders, and Emperor Mods is a clear step above. The case finishing is sharper, the bezel alignment is perfect, and the movement was regulated — it's running better than my Seiko 5 out of the box. This is the builder I'm sticking with."
Real photos from real owners. No renders. No Photoshop.
I started Emperor Mods because I was tired of choosing between overpriced retail watches and cheap fashion quartz. A Seiko mod gives you Japanese engineering — the same movements Seiko puts in their $500–2,000 watches — in a custom design that actually reflects your taste.
Every watch is hand-assembled in our workshop. I personally inspect each build before it ships: movement regulation, hand alignment, bezel action, bracelet finishing. If it's not right, it doesn't leave.
We've built over 2,400 watches for customers worldwide. Each one ships with a 1-year warranty and a 30-day no-questions return window. If you don't love it, you don't keep it.
