A 47mm armored chassis, a copper instrument dial, and a rolling month/week/date display that turns like machinery. Built loud, finished clean.
Some watches tell time. This one reports it. Half-skeleton engine up top, rolling calendar cylinders down below, and a finish that looks like it rolled out of a machine shop — not a jewelry counter.
Heavy. Mechanical. Loudly original.
Every part of the AK9022 exists to be looked at twice — the calendar that rolls instead of clicks, the dial that opens onto its own engine, and armor plating that belongs on a tool, not a trinket.

The warm-blooded one — gold armor over a black dial, with a red racing line down the strap. Rebellious by default.

The cold-calculated one — black armor, silver bezel and dial, white racing line. Sharper, quieter, more machine than jewelry.
The AK9022 is built around a precision quartz calendar core — the reliability of battery accuracy with a multi-axis calendar that turns on horizontal cylinders. Set it once a month and it reports for duty.
If a watch fails a single check, it never ships.
Battery — a high-grade quartz calendar core. That means precision without winding: set it, wear it, forget it. Change the battery every couple of years and it keeps running.
The lower gauge window holds horizontal rotating cylinders for the month, week and date. They advance mechanically at midnight — you can watch the date roll over. Everything is set through the center crown.
No. The AK9022 carries daily splash and moisture protection — rain, washing your hands, the occasional splash — but it is not a water watch. Keep it away from direct fluid contact. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out in the pool.
Black & Gold is the warm-blooded one: gold case, black bezel and dial, red racing line down the strap — for the guy who wants to be noticed. Silver & Black is the cold-calculated one: black case, silver bezel and dial, white racing line — sharper, quieter, more machine than jewelry. Same chassis, same engine, different temperature.
The band measures 195mm end to end and tapers from 24mm to 22mm, fitting wrists up to about 242mm in circumference. It's a 47mm case — built to be seen, so expect presence.
